Keanna LamontKeanna Lamont attended the MassSTAR Citizenship Conference in 2012 representing North Reading High School. She attended Boston College and graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Applied Psychology and Human Development in 2018. In 2020 she graduated from Boston College with her Master's in Education. Keanna is currently a 5th grade teacher within Boston Public Schools.
Keanna has served in a variety of roles and has not missed a single conference since 2012. She has served as a junior facilitator and junior operations member, then joined the Conference Planning Committee on the Recruitment team in 2015. Keanna then served as Conference Director in 2019 and 2022. In 2022, Keanna became the Vice President of the Board of Directors, until 2025 when she was elected as President. Keanna has remained actively involved with the MYL Foundation since her formative, life-changing experience as a delegate in 2012. The lessons she gained through MYL helped build her confidence, reshape her perspective, and continue to guide her in both her personal life and professional career. She values being part of a community of change-makers and dedicated citizens committed to improving the world around them, and she is continually inspired by the passion and impact of MYL’s volunteers and staff. |
