Sasha GonyeSasha attended her first MassSTAR conference in 2011 representing Falmouth High School. In College, she attended the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Game Design and Development. She now works as an Operations Engineer for Grubhub.
Throughout the years, Sasha has returned to the MassSTAR conference to serve as a Junior Facilitator, Junior Operations and Senior Facilitator staff member. She has served as the Development Events Coordinator, since 2025 and is responsible for fundraising event coordination and programming. Through MYL, Sasha has been able to gain confidence in her voice and open her mind to new perspectives and experiences. She was inspired by the queer staff at MassSTAR in 2011 and returns to the conference and serves the board to try and inspire other young queer folks. Thankful for the community that gave so much to her, she returns to pay it forward and enable the possibility of such change in others! |
