Abby represented Narragansett Regional High School at the 2015 MassSTAR conference. She has since been involved with many roles within the MYL Organization including Junior Facilitator/Operations, and more recently as a Recruitment Director for the 2019 and 2022 conferences. Currently she is serving as a co-treasurer with Brittany Stefano on the Board of Directors. These roles have allowed Abby to be an active member within MYL, and she is excited to show her continued support within the Board. The MYL Foundation gave her confidence and a community of caring, open-minded people. She hopes to provide this environment as well as resources to high school students looking to be better leaders within their communities.
Abby graduated from WPI in 2021 with a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, competing as a coxswain on the Varsity Men's Rowing team and being an active executive member of Omicron Delta Kappa. After graduating, Abby worked as a process engineer at MilliporeSigma before joining a two-year rotational program. She joined ABB's engineering program in June 2022, working in Mebane, NC, and currently resides in Hartford, CT, working as an R&D Engineer. She works in ABB's electrification business, which provides low to high voltage solutions on the industrial and commercial level, offering reliable and innovative technologies for electricity distribution.
