Giving Tuesday 2024
Dear MYL Family,
As we approach the holiday season, we’re reminded of the incredible power of community and the generosity of those who support our mission to shape the leaders of tomorrow. Your dedication has allowed the Massachusetts Youth Leadership (MYL) Foundation to create meaningful, transformative experiences for youth across the state.
This Giving Tuesday, on December 3rd, 2024, we invite you to celebrate over 50 incredible years of inspiring youth leadership by participating in our anniversary challenge! Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving—a chance for all of us to come together and make a real impact.
Since 1973, our annual programs have reached over 5,000 student leaders. In the last decade, we have brought together student leaders from 350+ Massachusetts High Schools.
This year, through the relentless work of our Conference Planning Committee and volunteer staff, we were able to enrich and inspire over 80 delegates across Massachusetts. Thank you - we could not have done this without your love, care, and support!
We invite you to join us on this journey. Together, let’s make December 3 a day to remember—filled with generosity, impact, and hope for the future.
Our goal is to reach $5,000 in donations. Our Board of Directors and Conference Planning Committee are 100% volunteer driven, meaning all donations go towards supporting program costs to ensure our conference remains free for all attending students and their high schools. We would love for you to join our efforts in this special month of giving!

- A donation of $15 would provide one meal for a delegate
- A donation of $50 would provide one night of conference housing for a delegate
- A donation of $100 would provide enough supplies for a group of delegates to participate in workshops for the weekend
- A donation of $150 would provide a day’s worth of snacks for 100+ delegates
- A donation of $200 would provide the meals and housing for one delegate for the entire conference
If 100 people donate $50 we will reach our goal of $5,000!
