This three-day leadership conference will be returning to Lasell University in Newton, MA. We invite one sophomore from every Massachusetts-accredited public, private, charter, and vocational school to participate in an exciting, hands-on learning experience. Student delegates are nominated and chosen by their school principals, guidance counselors, teachers, and advisors, based on their demonstrated and potential leadership ability. Since its inception in 1974, MYL Foundation’s annual programs have reached more than 5,000 students.

The MYL Foundation holds an annual One Day Conference to keep up the MassSTAR spirit, empowering delegates and alumni to continue being leaders in their communities. This event provides the opportunity for alumni to reconnect with one another, listen to outstanding speakers share the impact they have made in their communities, and participate in a service project that assists a local non-profit organization.

At MYL Foundation, we have always focused on bettering communities in Massachusetts by empowering student leaders to take initiative and find creative solutions to problems they identify in their schools, towns, and cities.  The MYL Foundation Empowered Citizen Grant Program presents the opportunity for young leaders to develop a community service project from start to finish and make a real improvement in their community.
