What is the Empowered Citizens Grant?
MYL awards grant money to alumni who are passionate about using leadership and collaboration to positively impact their communities.
The goal of the grant is to empower young leaders to find creative solutions to problems in their communities by designing a community-service project.
Through the grant application process, applicants will develop skills related to creating a SMART goal, writing a grant application, and collaboration.
The Mass Youth Leadership Foundation believes in the power of youth to positively impact their communities. We hope that by providing funding and mentoring throughout the application and planning process, grant applicants develop their confidence, skills, and experience as leaders.
High school and college aged MYL alumni are invited to apply either individually or as part of a group.
