Cayla's Response: 2009

Cayla's Response: Bishop Coyle and Cassidy High School
Question: If you went to/are currently attending college, where did/do you go and what did you major in?
Cayla's Response: Providence College (Class of 2015) - Global Studies and Spanish, Political Science Minor
Question: If you are currently employed, what is your job?
Cayla's Response: Attorney
Question: Why do/did you volunteer with MYL/MassSTAR?
Cayla's Response: I attribute a significant part of my growth and professionalism to the connections, skills, and opportunities I have gotten from MYL/ MassSTAR. No matter the challenge, the support from my fellow alumni and friends in this organization has taught me invaluable skills and helped me rise to the occasion. I volunteer my time in hopes that our organization will continue to keep empowered students to realize their goals and better the world.
Question: What makes the Foundation unique?
Cayla's Response: It's spirit - no matter where you are in the world, if you see someone who has gone through this foundation, it will be like no time has passed. You will feel the glimmer that is the MassSTAR bond.
Question: How would you describe the conference to somebody who hasn't/won't be able to experience it?
Cayla's Response: You start the weekend like you start any new experience - confused, nervous, wondering what will define you. In three short days, you walk away with confidence, exuberance, and feeling like you can conquer the world!
