Brian DudleyBrian Dudley (he/him/his) is a creative educator and advisor, specializing in student services, youth leadership, and arts education.
He is a full time staff member overseeing academic and career advising for the BA/BFA Dual Degree program at The New School in New York City, and previously was the Academic Advisor for the School of Theatre at Boston University and the co-Program Head of the BU Summer Theatre Institute. Brian has volunteered with the MYL Foundation since 2014 in various roles including MassSTAR Facilitator, Director of Programming, and co-head of virtual programs, and believes strongly in the mission of the organization to empower young people to become the best versions of themselves and lead the charge for change and growth in their communities. His training and practice include collaborative theatre making, applied theatre, leadership education and development, Circle facilitation for community building and conflict resolution, and arts-integrated curriculum development. As a teaching artist, administrator, and youth theatre director, Brian has also worked with Arlington Children’s Theatre, the Lyric Stage Company of Boston, Kingsley Montessori School, the Jewish Community Center North Shore, and Jumpstart, Americorps’ early literacy intervention program for preschoolers. Brian holds an M.Ed in Arts, Community, and Education with a specialization in Theatre Studies from Lesley University, and a B.F.A in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College. He loves NASA’s Mars Exploration Rovers, Curiosity and Perseverance, more than most other things. |
