Cristian BedoyaCristian first became part of MassSTAR in 2008 as a delegate representing Lowell Catholic High School. Since then, Cristian has become heavily involved in his community taking on new leadership roles. Over the years, he served on the MassSTAR Operations team, the MassSTAR Alumni Association, and the MYL Foundation Junior Board. In his senior year in high school, he was elected Student Council Executive Board President and acted heavily in Campus Ministry. He graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2010 and went on to study at Northwestern University just outside of Chicago.
At Northwestern, he served on the executive board for Design For America, a student-run club focused on creating engineering projects that help the local community. He also served on the student advisory board for the Sheil Catholic Center at Northwestern. In December 2015, Cristian graduated from Northwestern with a Masters Degree in Computer Engineering. He continued to support the MassSTAR conference as Director of Operations and later became Conference Director for the 2018 and 2019 Conferences. He currently resides in Los Angeles and works as a Software Engineer for Northrop Grumman. |
