Congratulations on being selected to represent your high school at the 2019 MassSTAR Citizenship Conference! From this page, you'll find links to all the information you'll need to prepare for your weekend at the Conference. If you have any questions that aren't answered here, please contact our Conference Directors, conference.director@massyouthleadership and they'll be happy to help out!
All delegates are required to submit their Registration Packet. We ask that all delegates return the form electronically; the PDF at the link above is fully editable, so you can complete it online and return it by email to our registration directors. If you have any trouble filling out the form, please contact the directors for support.
Wondering what you're getting into? We understand! We've put together a series of our most frequently asked questions, based on communication with past delegates. We hope this page will help you to feel more prepared for the Conference! In addition, you will receive an email message from your facilitator for the weekend, and he or she will set up a time to speak with you by phone to answer any questions you or your family might have regarding the weekend. Your facilitator is an excellent resource, so don't hesitate to reach out to him or her in the weeks leading up to the conference! You can also always email the conference directors with questions.
On Sunday, June 02, we invite all delegates' families to join us for a Family Reception, and to partake in our closing ceremonies. The reception offers an opportunity to meet other families from across Massachusetts, and also to meet members of our Conference staff and the MYL Foundation Board of Directors. You'll learn more about the weekend and hear the highlights of what the delegates experienced during their time with us! Following the reception, we'll rejoin the Delegates for the formal Conference Closing Ceremonies.

There are a few must-haves, but we also recommend leaving some items at home. We'll be in touch in the weeks leading up to the event to remind you about this information, but it's never too early to begin planning!
Every year, we team up with our Platinum Partners, the General Federation of Women's Clubs of Massachusetts, to complete a service project on the Saturday afternoon of the Conference. Click above to learn more about this year's project, the Birthday Wishes Birthday in a Box campaign.
