Olivia attended the MassSTAR conference in 2016 representing Ashland High School, and then graduated in 2021 from Boston College with a BS in Biochemistry. She is currently involved with research at Harvard Medical School that aims to design better vaccines for the flu and understand viruses.
Since the conference, Olivia has served in the roles of Junior Facilitator (2017), Director of In-Kind Donations (2018 and 2019), and Director of Senior Staff (2022) for the conference. She joined the board in the summer of 2019 as the Co-Director of Empowered Citizens Grants with Sean Flaherty, and moved to the Vice President Position in the Fall of 2022 with Keanna Lamont.
Olivia was impacted by the friends and mentors she met at the conference, and loves to grow each year alongside them. She comes back to see the delegates at the conference come out of their shells while making connections and gaining lifelong skills. She also volunteers with the Animal Rescue League in Boston.
