Stephanie Nguyen deeply believes in the power of education as a lever to close the opportunity gap. She currently works in finance at WestEd, a research agency, which works with education and other communities to promote excellence, achieve equity, and improve learning for children, youth, and adults.  Stephanie previously worked for KIPP (Knowledge Is Power Program) charter schools in finance, strategy, grant management and operations roles. At KIPP, she co-founded a free career readiness after school program for KIPP high school students. Prior to her work in education, she began her career in equity research (consumer cyclicals and global growth) at MFS Investments and Putnam Investments.

Stephanie first joined the Board of Directors as an Alumni Advisor and over the past fifteen years has served Massachusetts Youth Leadership Foundation as Director of In-kinds, Conference Co-Chair, Director of Finance, Executive Director, Executive Director Emerita, Member-At-Large and recently joined the Advisory Board.
